The premise

The proof already exists. It was just never filed under an address.

Seeing the damage is easy. Proving when it happened is the hard part. A claim, a repair scope or an expert opinion needs the day, the size of the hail, and how close to the property it was measured.

All of that is already on record. NOAA, the National Weather Service, the Storm Prediction Center and thousands of trained spotters have been writing it down for thirty years, across a dozen different systems. Not one of them will answer a question about a street address.

Titan Weather asks all of them about one property and hands you a single document that shows where every number came from, so anyone reading it can check each line against the source.

A weather app will tell you it hailed somewhere nearby that week. This is for the professional who has to say which day, how big the stones were, how far from the roof they were measured, and where that is written down.

What is behind it

Every property weather report checks 14 independent government sources.

Every report asks all of them and tells you which ones answered, including the ones that found nothing. A source that came back empty is part of the answer. A search is only complete if it says what it covered.

The records come from NOAA, the National Weather Service, the Storm Prediction Center, FEMA, NASA and the cooperative observer networks. Which of their datasets a report draws on, the scope each one is queried at, and how they are reconciled against each other is the methodology behind every report we issue.

How it works

How one address becomes a report you can stand behind.

The address becomes a point on the map. Every source is checked for that point, at the scale it is actually accurate at, and nothing goes on the page until it has been compared with everything else that saw the same storm.

Most weather data on the market is one federal feed, resold. What matters in a review is not how many websites repeated the report. It is how many independent ways the storm was actually measured.

Provenance

Every number says whether it was measured or estimated.

A hail stone measured by a spotter and a size estimated from radar are two different kinds of fact. A document that mixes them up will not survive a technical review, and it should not.

So every figure carries its own label: what kind of evidence it is, how far from the property it was taken, and a link to the government record it came from. Anyone can check any line at the source. That is the standard the report is built to.

The storm map

Estimates look like estimates
Hail swaths are estimated from the record and calibrated against what was measured on the ground. A swath is where hail probably fell. A solid mark is where someone measured it. The two never look alike on the map.

Every property and territory your team watches is drawn over the storm, marked by its worst open storm day. Draw a shape or a radius on the map and it is watched from that moment on.

If the archive has not been pulled yet for an area and a date range, the map says so instead of showing an empty county. Pull it right there and the records land on the map in front of you.

A storm day is one date, one area, and everything the record holds for it. Zoom in to the ground your crews work and you see the swath, the measured stones and the warning polygon, each drawn differently so you can tell them apart.

Warnings sit on their own line, apart from the record. What the forecast office expected and what actually fell are two different facts, and a page that blurs them is just another county summary.

02 Building consultants

A county storm history is not this building's storm history.

An assessment has to separate what the weather did from what time and wear did, and that takes the building's own storm exposure, not the region's. What usually arrives is a county summary, or whatever was in the client's file. Hail somewhere in the county that year is context. 2.75-inch hail measured 0.8 miles from this roof is evidence.

The report is a storm history for one point on the map, up to 30 years deep: every hail, wind, tornado and flood event on record at the address, each with its date, size, distance and source. 03 Public adjusters

The damage is on the roof. The argument is about the date.

You represent the policyholder, and the file moves on the date of loss. A denial rarely says there was no damage. It says the storm was earlier, or smaller, or somewhere else, and the burden of showing otherwise lands on your desk with a printout from a free weather site that will not survive an appraisal panel.

Pair what was found on the structure with the dated record of what reached it. Every figure in the report carries its source, record identifier, observation time, distance and bearing from the property, and the kind of evidence it is. That qualification is what lets a line be checked by the other side instead of disputed, and it stays intact through appraisal and into litigation if the claim goes there.

04 Independent adjusters

Check the reported date of loss against a record nobody in the file wrote.

After a catastrophe the file arrives with a story already in it: the insured's recollection, the contractor's scope, a date everyone has agreed on. Your job is to confirm the loss, and at catastrophe volume there is no time to build the weather picture by hand for every address on the list.

The report checks the stated date against records anyone can confirm for themselves, and says what it searched. Sources that found nothing are listed with the area they covered, so a clean result means a complete search, not a gap. Whichever way the claim goes, the basis for it is in the file, and that basis is the federal record rather than anyone's memory.

Your opinion will be examined, and the first question will be where each number came from and whether it is a measurement or a model. Commercial weather products routinely blend radar estimates and ground reports into one hail size, and that blend is the first thing an opposing expert pulls apart.

Every observation arrives with its provenance intact: source, record number, observation time, distance, bearing and evidence kind. Measured and analyzed values are labelled separately on every page and in the export. The report does not interpret the record. That is your job, and the document is laid out so you can do it.

Weather evidence usually fails on foundation before it fails on substance: who compiled it, from what, by what method, and whether the copy in the binder is the copy that was issued. A screenshot of a radar loop answers none of those questions, and opposing counsel knows it.

The method section says which sources were searched, over what area and to what precision. Measured and modelled values are never presented as the same kind of fact. Every record cites its government source, and a fingerprint printed on every page lets anyone confirm the document is the one we issued. We take no position on any claim, which is exactly what makes the record usable by either side.

Provenance

Every line can be checked. That is the whole point.

Anyone can print a weather summary. What makes weather verification useful in professional work is that every figure can be traced back and confirmed by whoever is reading it.

Every figure names its source
Source, record number, observation time, distance and bearing from the property. The method section says what each source was asked and over what area, whether a radar cell, a warning polygon or a whole county, because those are not the same thing and a document that treats them as the same is not worth relying on.
Every report carries a fingerprint
A checksum of the records and findings, printed on the page and in the PDF. A copy that has been altered no longer matches the one we issued, and anyone holding it can tell.
Sources that found nothing are still listed
A report that searched every source and found two events says so, and names the ones that came back empty. A search is only complete if it says what it covered.
Nothing on record is a real answer
Some addresses have no severe weather on record for the period. That result is written out as plainly as any other, and it is often the one worth having before you scope any more work.

The search radius is how far out a report is allowed to look, not how precise it is. Every report is built for one address, and every record in it states its own distance and bearing from that address, so a stone measured half a mile away is never presented as the same evidence as one measured forty.

How do I get a weather report for an insurance claim?

Enter the property address. The report compiles every hail, wind, tornado, flood, fire and lightning event on record at that address from the public federal weather record, dates each one, states its distance from the property, and cites the record it came from. It is issued as a page you can read and a PDF you can attach to the claim file, with the method and the sources searched printed on the document itself.

Can I get a hail report by address?

Yes. Every report is compiled for one street address rather than a county or a ZIP code. Hail arrives from trained spotter reports, the finalized storm record, radar detection and the warnings that were in force, each with its measured size where one was taken and its distance and bearing from the property. The same report carries the wind, tornado and flood record for the address, so a hail report by address and a wind report by address are the same document.

What is a date of loss weather report?

A report that tests a stated date of loss against the record, or finds the date when nobody is sure of it. It lists every storm that reached the address in the period, so the day the damage occurred can be read off the record rather than recalled. Where the stated date does not match anything on record, the report says so, which is as useful to a claim as a match.

How far back does the historical weather record go?

The finalized federal storm record is complete from 1996, and that is the deepest a report reaches. Hourly wind detail is shallower than that, and gets coarser the further back you go. Your plan sets how much of the depth a report may use, and every report states the exact period it covered rather than leaving you to assume.

Who uses a property weather report?

Contractors, public adjusters, independent adjusters, attorneys, meteorologists, engineers and building consultants. The common thread is a professional opinion that has to be documented: what the weather did at a specific address, on a specific date, and where that is written down. Property owners order them too, though most of our volume comes from licensed practitioners working a file.

Do you interpret the data or offer an opinion?

No. We compile and document the record; the professional opinion is yours. Every observation arrives with its source, record identifier, observation time, distance, bearing and evidence kind intact, which is what an analysis needs to rest on. We do not characterize damage, assign causation or take a position on a claim.

What if there is nothing on record for the address?

You get a report that says so, listing every source searched and the period covered. That is a substantive result rather than a failed one. It settles the question when a loss is attributed to a storm that did not reach the property, and it is worth having before any further work is scoped.

Will an insurance carrier accept a weather verification report?

No one can promise how a particular reviewer, carrier or court will treat any document, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can do is make every figure verifiable: each record names its source and identifier, and the method section states what was searched and over what area. Most disputes are not about whether the weather happened. They are about whether it can be shown.

Is the wind speed measured at my property?

Almost never, and the report says so. Measured wind comes from official stations, which may be some miles off, and the distance is printed beside it. Anything worked onto a grid is labelled analyzed rather than measured, because it describes an area the address sits in rather than the address itself. That distinction is what makes these reports usable in technical work, and we hold to it.

How long does a weather report take?

Usually under a minute. An address nobody has asked about before takes longer, because we retrieve the archive rather than serving something stale. There is no need to sit and watch it either. Run a batch, carry on with the day, and they are in your list when you come back.

Which areas does a weather report by address cover?

The United States, including territories covered by the National Weather Service. Coverage is only as good as the underlying federal record, which is denser in populated areas, since a hail report requires somebody to have reported it. Radar, warnings and gridded analysis do not depend on a witness, which is part of why every report searches all of them.
